Friday Morning Briefing - 30 April 2021

Every Friday, all staff at Bloomsbury take part in the Friday morning briefing. We think about what we’re thankful for; we think about how we could be better, and thanks are given to staff that has gone above and beyond. In these troubling times, it is more important than ever to check and get together, especially to discuss how we can make the school a better place. As we are attending meetings from a distance, Mr. Scott kindly takes us through a 3-minute yoga pose to ensure staff wellbeing.

Disinfectant Spray for the School's Opening Preparation

On Tuesday 27th April at 2:00 PM, an official team from Meuang Kuanlang Municipality has disinfectant sprayed inside classrooms and around the whole school area to have the school readied for opening. There is NO Covid19 in school nor has there been, but this is being done to keep us all extra safe and is part of the government's policy.

First Week of Online Teaching

Student Packets Are Going Home!

On 19 April 2021, our teachers and supporting staff have been busy at school preparing lots of work to support our students at home! 'Student Packets' consisting of worksheets, books, and other materials were sent out today to support our students as best we can in their home learning. We are looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow on Zoom!

Songkran Celebration 2021

Bloomsbury International School Hatyai celebrated the Thai New Year with our own Songkran festival today. Our morning began with a fun sandcastle building competition. In the afternoon there was a religious ceremony, followed by the pouring of blessed water, excellent performances from the children before the day finished with delicious snacks to be enjoyed by all.

Extra-Curricular Activities, Term 2B

After a long wait, Extra-Curricular Activities (ECAs) finally commenced on 16th March 2021. The teachers have created many ECA clubs for the students to join. In the photos, we see football, basketball, table tennis, library, drone, Scratch and shrinkies club.
