Bloomsbury’s Principal, Mr Andrew Elliott, delivered an in-service training (‘INSET’) session to teachers and other staff on how to measure the effectiveness with which global citizenship is inculcated in the school’s classes and other operations.
Another calendar year almost finished and 2019 is just around the corner. Yesterday, we celebrated Christmas here at Bloomsbury. For many weeks, students had been working hard practicing their moves and memorising lines.
On Monday, 3rd December 2018 at 10.00 a.m., Bloomsbury’s Management Team, Mr Thaworn Senneam - School Adviser, Ms Pimjun Senneam - School Licensee, Mr Andrew Elliott - Principal, Mr Craig Rowark – Vice Principal and Mr Somkiat Yanjeen–Director, were pleased to visit Hatyai University,as a result of which the two institutions will work together over matters of mutual academic interest in international education.
On Monday, 3rd December 2018 at 08:05 a.m. in the Convention Hall, Scotland Building at Bloomsbury International School Hatyai, all teaching staff and students assembled in the Convention Hall for ‘Father’s Day’ activity.
Following on from yesterday's preparations, this morning, Thursday 22nd November 2018, parents/guardians, students, teaching staff and support team all gathered in the Convention Hall for the Loy Krathong Cerebration. Mr Thaworn Senneam, Senior Advisor, made an opening speech and welcomed our honoured guests, Madame Evariana Sulaiman, the spouse of His Excellency Fachry Sulaiman, the Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Songkhla, together with her friends to experience and celebrate this annual glittering Thai tradition. We highly appreciate all parents for their cooperative attire in Thai Traditional dress and scrumptious authentic Thai desserts provided.
It wouldn't be October without celebrating Mr. Strubelt's favourite day of the year, HALLOWEEN! Students and staff alike joined forces to create gory games, chilling challenges and dark decorations, culminating in an afternoon of brilliant fun.
On 24th October 2018 Bloomsbury executives were pleased and honoured to welcome His Excellency Fachry Sulaiman, the Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Songkhla, and Madam Evariana Sulaiman, his wife, when they visited the school to discuss the enrolment of their daughter, Miss Siti Nadhira Sulaiman, and various practical forms of future collaboration between the Consulate and the school in the weeks and months ahead. Discussions were wide ranging and all those present resolved to continue and extend these - and the joint cultural and educational activities to which they referred - in the future.
