On 7th January 2019 Bloomsbury’s Principal, Mr Andrew Elliott, received the school’s new Oxford International AQA centreship certificate following various visits made to Bloomsbury last year by Mr Matthew Bennett, Oxford International AQA Examinations’ Regional Director, Qualifications (South East Asia), and various meetings held in Bangkok between Mr Bennett and Mr Elliott.

On 28th November 2018 Bloomsbury’s Principal, Mr Andrew Elliott, chaired a meeting of stakeholder representatives to review the school’s guiding statements and values. This is an exercise the school conducts at regular intervals in order to ensure that the statements and values remain relevant and significant to all members of the Bloomsbury community.

Bloomsbury International School Hatyai has signed a co-operation agreement with Rangsit University, Pathum Thani, whereby the two institutions will work together over matters of mutual academic interest in international education. Among the main benefits offered by this co-operation is the opportunity it affords for A Level students at Bloomsbury to secure admission to the range of international undergraduate degree programmes offered by Rangsit (which span the fields of Business, Accountancy, Civil Engineering, ICT, Communication Arts and Hospitality).

Bloomsbury International School Hatyai is proud to announce that it has just been approved as an Oxford International AQA Examinations centre. This means the school can offer students courses designed to prepare them for examinations set by Oxford AQA as well as those set by Cambridge International Examinations (for which the school already holds approved centreship).

When deciding at which school to enrol their children, many parents wonder what will happen at the conclusion of their son’s or daughter’s studies. Bloomsbury is pleased to announce that it has negotiated guaranteed arrangements with a number of universities in Thailand and overseas whereby the latter agree to recognise Bloomsbury’s A Level programme as an entrance qualification. This means that once a student completes their Sixth Form studies at Bloomsbury and obtains specific grades in their A Levels, they can be assured of progression to a recognised BA degree at university afterwards. Hence Bloomsbury can offer specific study pathways with seamless transitions to its students based on their academic strengths, future career ambitions and personal / family studying preferences.
